Yes. First, we do not share the data you provide us with unless you explicitly allow us to; so data is per default not public. A different issue, however, is if you require the data to be anonymized so that people are not identifiable. This should be handled on your side before you send the data to us.

We use a number of open-source tools, primarily the statistical computing language R.
Ideally, you provide the data and the question and we help you answer it. However, we are also open to collaborating on projects together where the data does not yet exist, and our input can help in answering questions related to data collection.
We believe in open source and open data. Therefore, we release all our products under a free software licence. Any data not collected by DvC is only shared after agreement by the data owner.
